🎉 2024 Adventures! 🚀

As we dance into the third week of 2024, I'm thrilled to share an update.

2023 was a time of deep reflection, transformative reset, and envisioning new horizons. The past nearly 5 years at Meta, as Director of Community Partnerships APAC, have been nothing short of phenomenal. It's been a journey of empowering hundreds of thousands of community leaders and brands, creating awe-inspiring impact, and investing millions into projects that have touched millions of lives. Starting from the ground up, I've had the joy of working with some of the most passionate, innovative, and brilliant minds. We launched groundbreaking initiatives like the Community Accelerator, Community Management Certification, and our expansive Facebook Community Learning Labs supporting community leaders at scale. I'm profoundly grateful for these experiences and the incredible impact we've achieved across various sectors. My journey at Meta has been a masterclass in leadership, personal growth, and team development.

Now, it's time for a thrilling new chapter!

🌟 Introducing Designing Communities: Teaming up with the dynamic Perng Aw, as founders of our brand-new venture. We're not just reimagining business growth; we're leading a revolution with our community-centric approach. Focusing on the Asia Pacific and UAE markets, we're transforming how businesses/products connect and grow. Think of us as more than strategists – we're your partners in success, leveraging the power of community-led strategies. Our approach is holistic: from fractional support to ‘done for you’ or ‘done with you’. We've already onboarded our first few clients.

🔥 Meta Alumni APAC Community: With Liam McCarten, we are continuing the momentum/support for the Meta Alumni community in APAC.

🌐 Being a partner at The Carrot Collective: I'll be contributing where possible my expertise, tapping into this collective of over 2500 professionals across 26 countries.

🚀 Mentorship, Coaching, and Advisory/Board Roles: Continuing since 2009, I will continue to mentor/advise startups, while also exploring new opportunities for Board roles, following my certification at Future Directors.

🌱 'Becoming': Collaborating with Anju Malhi and Andrea Mato in our community for women in transition.

📚 Teaching: I'm honored to teach at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), Community-Led Growth for Business Impact for their Venture Builders program, fuelled by my energizing experiences from workshops at Hub71 x Techstars in Abu Dhabi last year, I hope to continue doing more of this in 2024.

In 2024 I will continue to maintain a joyful state of flow...
